Rosen Hagood Attorney Appointed to ABA Commission
Rosen Hagood is pleased to announce that Alice Paylor has been appointed to the American Bar Association Commission on Women in the Profession. This leadership appointment is recognition of her career accomplishments and leadership as the immediate past president of the South Carolina Bar Association.
As the national voice for women lawyers, the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession forges a new and better profession that ensures that women have equal opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Paylor, who is a partner and member of the firm’s management committee, has served in various officer positions for the South Carolina Bar and other professional organizations. In May 2013, she became the fourth female president of the South Carolina Bar. She is currently serving as immediate past president. Paylor has also served as president of the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association (2006) and is an active member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the Charleston County Bar Association.
Her practice focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation, employment litigation, and school law. Paylor holds the highest professional rankings, including the Martindale-Hubbell AV rating and The Best Lawyers in America for commercial litigation and litigation – labor and employment.
