Rosen Hagood Supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease and support for continued research in hopes of finding a cure.
Second only to skin cancer, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among American women.
According to BreastCancer.org, studies show that 1 in 8 women in the United States (about 12%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of their lifetime. As of January 2020, there are more than 3.5 million women with a history of breast cancer in the U.S. This includes women currently being treated and women who have finished treatment.
We all know someone who has been impacted by breast cancer. Rosen Hagood is proud to support Making Strides of Charleston for the great work they are doing locally to raise money for research and to celebrate survivors.
