Rosen Hagood Attorney, Andrew Gowdown, Joins Board of Brain Injury Association of South Carolina
The law firm of Rosen Hagood is pleased to announce that partner Andrew Gowdown has joined the board of directors of the Brain Injury Association of South Carolina (BIASC). An attorney with years of experience representing clients with traumatic brain injuries (TBI), Gowdown is passionate about educating for prevention and advocating for the injured.
“I’m honored to serve on the board of the BIASC alongside others who advocate for the needs of those with TBI,” said Gowdown. “Each year in South Carolina approximately 11,500 people are treated in emergency rooms across the state for brain injuries. BIASC is the voice for those individuals.”
Established in 1998, the Brain Injury Association of South Carolina is a nonprofit organization founded by persons with brain injury, their families, and concerned professionals dedicated to providing information and support to those who have been afflicted. Services provided throughout the state include educating healthcare providers, coaches, athletes, teachers, law enforcement, and military personnel about brain injury and its effects.
