Charleston Attorney Elected to Board of Governors for South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association

Charleston, SC – Alex Cash, of Rosen, Rosen & Hagood, LLC, has been elected to the 2003-2004 Board of Governors for the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association (SCTLA). Cash will begin his term August 6th when the SCTLA holds its annual convention on Hilton Head Island.

Based in Columbia, SC, SCTLA was founded over 40 years ago by a small group of trial lawyers. The SCTLA has grown into a statewide organization with more than 1300 members and serves as a valuable resource to members, providing continuing legal education to update their skills and keep them abreast of changes in the law. The motto of the SCTLA is “Keeping South Carolina Families Safe”; working with the South Carolina General Assembly as an advocate for the right of individual consumers is the top priority of the SCTLA.

Cash, a North Carolina native, practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, family law, products liability and personal injury. He graduated from Florida State University in 1983, received a Master of Music from Indiana University in 1985 and received his law degree from the University of North Carolina in 1991. In addition to practicing law in all South Carolina courts, he is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
