On Friday, January 23, 2015, a free legal clinic for homeless and transitional youth will be held.  Attorneys volunteering their time will be available for free consultation regarding legal issues facing homeless and transitional youth, including public assistance, government benefits, criminal matters, and credit and consumer matters.

The event will be held at the Richland Library Main, C. David Warren Gallery, 1431 Assembly Street, Columbia, SC.  The clinic will open at 9:30 a.m. and close at 12:30 p.m.

“I am proud that the South Carolina Bar has adopted Project Street Youth, this year’s national public service initiative by the ABA Young Lawyers Division,” said Beth Palmer, an attorney at Rosen Hagood in Charleston and Director of Public Service for the ABA Young Lawyers Division.  “We are excited to serve this very deserving population during this year’s SC Bar Annual Convention.”
