Rosen Hagood Helps Build Leaders

Elizabeth F. Nicholson December 12, 2019

Congratulations to Elizabeth Nicholson, a Rosen Hagood attorney recently selected for membership in the 2020 class of the South Carolina Bar Leadership Academy. The Academy is an elite group of 17 attorneys statewide and in practice for between 3 and 15 years, who will be trained to be the next generation of Bar and community leaders.

The Academy program equips members to face challenges in the legal community and community at large; maximizes networking and relationship building opportunities; nurtures principled leadership and increased awareness regarding ethical, professional and community service issues; develops other skills necessary to give back to the profession; and positions participants as valuable leaders in the community. Selected participants are given opportunities to connect with judges and legislators, gaining insight into the political process and opportunities for community leadership. The participants also learn from seasoned lawyers on various topics, including, but not limited to, how to have healthy relationships with clients, judges, and colleagues and the importance of pro bono and community service.

Nicholson, an Associate at Rosen Hagood, is a fourth-generation attorney and practices in the areas of business and commercial litigation, construction law and litigation, employment law and personal injury. Nicholson received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Historic Preservation and Community Planning from the College of Charleston and earned her J.D., cum laude, from the Charleston School of Law.
