Taylor was born and raised in Seymour, Wisconsin and moved to Charleston in 2019 to attend law school. Taylor is an associate practicing in the areas of family law, business and commercial litigation, personal injury, probate, estate, and trust litigation, and construction law.
Taylor served as a law clerk for the firm during the summer of 2021. She was also an extern for Charleston Legal Access and clerked for another local firm while in law school. Taylor graduated summa cum laude from the Charleston School of Law in May 2022. She was also a member of the Presidential Honors Society and achieved four CALI Awards: Contracts I, Evidence, Lawyers and the Media, and Secured Transactions.
During law school, Taylor served as a member and article editor for the Charleston Law Review. She also served various positions on the board of the Entertainment, Art, and Sports Law Society, which gave her the opportunity to compete in the 2021 Tulane International Baseball Arbitration Competition and win the Oral Advocacy Award for the Charleston School of Law.
Before attending law school, Taylor received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and a language certificate in French from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, giving her the opportunity to study abroad in Lille, France for three weeks.
Outside of her law practice, Taylor is an entrepreneur and co-owner of Wisconsin Meat & Cheese, a specialty retail store located in Charleston focusing on meats and cheeses from America’s Dairyland. In her free time, Taylor enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, reading, playing piano, and doing yoga.
