David Haselden focuses on family law matters as well as personal injury litigation. He began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable James C. Williams, Resident Judge in the First Judicial Court after graduating from the Charleston School of Law in 2007.

Following his clerkship, David transitioned to the role of Assistant Public Defender in the Charleston County Public Defender’s Office. In this capacity, he represented numerous defendants in both the Court of General Sessions and the Family Court. He then worked at Rosen Law Firm in the areas of family law and personal injury litigation before joining Rosen Hagood in August 2024.

Raised in Clover, South Carolina, he attended Clover High School before accepting a football scholarship to Clemson University, where he majored in Speech and Communications.

Licensed to practice law in South Carolina, David is an active member of both the South Carolina Bar and the Charleston County Bar Association. He is a member of the Charleston Lawyers Club and participates in various activities at First Scots Presbyterian Church.

Beyond his professional commitments, David is actively involved in his community. He continues to stay connected with his alma mater through the Tiger Letterman Association. He has served on the Berkely-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments and as Chairman of the City of Charleston Board of Architecture Review. David’s community engagement and academic achievements complement his legal expertise, making him a well-rounded advocate for his clients. He resides in Charleston with his wife Amanda, who is also an attorney, and their two kids, further strengthening his ties to the local community he serves.
